Designed to know almost nothing
Callers: no account, no name, no email. We process your IP
transiently to enforce daily session limits — stored only as a salted
one-way hash that expires with the day — and standard server logs.
Listeners: your application (chosen handle, languages, bio, private
contact, motivation) and your session counts. Your contact details are
never shown to callers.
Calls
Voice flows peer-to-peer between the two of you. We never record, store, or transcribe call audio. We keep session metadata (which listener, when, room code, chosen caller handle) for safety and statistics.
Retention & rights
Session metadata and reports: kept up to 12 months, then deleted. Listener applications: kept while the listener relationship lasts. You have GDPR rights (access, correction, deletion, objection) — contact us via techroots.be. You can complain to the Belgian DPA (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
Processors
Infrastructure: Google Cloud (EU region). Founder notifications: Twilio (WhatsApp). Payments, when introduced: Stripe.
