Unspoken

Terms & Acceptable Use

Draft — founding period. Pending legal review. Operated by Techroots BV, Belgium.

What Unspoken is

Unspoken connects you by voice with an independent listener for private, anonymous conversation. It is listening, not therapy, counselling, medical, legal, or financial advice. Listeners are screened for conduct, not licensed as care providers. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact professional services: 112 (EU emergency), 1813 (BE suicide line), 113 (NL). Unspoken is not a crisis service.

Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. By starting a session you confirm this. We may end access for anyone we believe to be underage.

Prohibited use — either side

· Sexual services or sexual content of any kind — this is a hard line and enforcement is immediate and permanent.
· Any illegal activity, or using calls to plan or facilitate it.
· Harassment, threats, hate, or recording the other person.
· Asking for or revealing real identities, or moving contact off the platform.
· Listeners: presenting yourself as a therapist/medic/adviser, or soliciting money from callers.

We may suspend or ban either side at our sole discretion, and we act on every report.

Anonymity & how calls work

Calls are peer-to-peer voice; we do not record or listen to them, and we could not produce their content afterwards — it never touches our servers. We do keep minimal session metadata (who talked to whom, when — by platform identifiers) for safety, capacity, and legal compliance, and we cooperate with lawful orders from competent authorities.

Founding period & payment

Sessions are currently free. Paid sessions (announced in advance) will be handled by our payment provider; listeners are independent contractors paid per session. Daily session limits apply to keep the platform healthy.

Liability

Unspoken provides the connection, not the conversation. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, Techroots BV is not liable for what is said in a session or for actions either party takes afterwards. Belgian law applies; courts of Belgium are competent.

Contact & reports

Something went wrong or worried you? Report it — a human reads every report. Abuse/legal contact: via techroots.be.
